There are two ways to read numbers in Korean:
one using Sino-Korean numbers and the other using native Korean numbers.
However, when it comes to reading large numbers, only Sino-Korean numbers are used.
In English, if you know how to read three-digit numbers, you can read any number.
You just need to know that a new unit of measurement appears for every three digits after the first three digits.
In Korean, if you know how to read four-digit numbers, you can read any number.
You just need to be aware that new unit numbers appear every four digits after the first four digits.
What makes reading numbers in Korean difficult is that commas (,) are placed every three digits, while you need to read the numbers in groups of four digits.
